Description
Oleander 'Emile Sahut' is an old French cultivar (1873). In USA/Galveston, it is called Scarlet Beauty. Very deep-red flowers with an especially fine, subtle, and soothing fragrance. Upright growth habit; the lower stems lose their leaves early on and should therefore be cut back frequently in stages. Otherwise quite healthy, reliable, and thrives in this climate very well. It is probably the most popular red variety in the USA as well as in Europe.
